Tripurari is a very distinctive lyricist who has written 25+ songs which got appreciated and accepted across the globe. His one of the recent songs ‘Mujhko Mana Lena’ got 10M+ views on YouTube/video platforms and 20M+ listenership across different audio platforms including Gaana, Spotify, iTunes and JioSaavn. His lyrics have been voiced by famous singers like Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali, Palak Muchhal, Debojit Saha and Poorvi Kautish.
He has been proving his writing expertise by expressing every kind of human emotion at its best. The word selection he does for the lyrics is so perfect that it makes listeners to feel connected to the song very easily. He wrote lyrics for the songs of every genre and for all age groups. Whether it’s romantic, sad, inspirational, devotional, sufi, party songs etc. He has been writing for more than 10 years and been associated with various music labels such as T-series, Zee Music, Saregama, Tips and Indie Music Label etc. He also wrote a few television shows like Kuch Baatein Kuch Yaadein with Annu Kapoor for Sony Mix, Light Camera Kissey with Shekhar Suman for Set Max and Spirit of India for Zee TV.
Along with this, Tripurari is one of the very few most quoted Urdu poets on social media. He was the recipient of Yourquote writing fellowship in 2017. He is the author of Osak Bunn (published by Sahitya Akademi, Delhi) and North Campus (winner of Lit-O-Fest Best Manuscript Award 2018). In 2019, his poetry was included in Maharashtra State Board 11th class Hindi textbook. And in 2020, his poetry was included in Bharti Bhawan’s 8th class Hindi textbook.
Tripurari has always been a part of various prestigious festivals and organizations. Sahitya Akademi, Rekhta, Raza Foundation, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, The Lil Flea, Crossover, Radio City, JNU, University of Delhi, University of Mumbai, IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Bombay are few to be named. Born in Samastipur (Bihar) he is currently residing in Mumbai, India. and working on various projects which include films, TV shows, albums, and web series.
