Tripurari Kumar Sharma is an Indian poet, fictionist, lyricist and film writer. He studied Hindi and Urdu literature at University of Delhi. And then he pursued MA in mass communication. In 2017, he received Yourquote Himalayan Writing Fellowship and in 2018, won Lit-O-Fest best manuscript contest award. In 2019, his poetry was included in Maharashtra State Board class 11th and in 2020, Bharti Bhawan’s class 8th Hindi textbook. He is the author of Osak Bunn, North Campus and Aakhiri Ishq.

 

Tripurari wrote the dialogues for the film Modi Ji Ki Beti and previously been associated with Zee TV, Colors, Sony Mix, Set Max, Star Bharat, TV18, Netflix, MX Player and BIG FM. His numerous songs have been released with music labels like T-Series, Zee Music Company, Saregama, Tips, Indie Music Label etc.

 

Tripurari has always been a part of different prestigious festivals and organizations. Sahitya Akademi, Rekhta, Raza Foundation, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, The Lil Flea, Radio City, JNU, University of Delhi, University of Mumbai, IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Bombay are few to be named. Born in Samastipur (Bihar) he is currently residing in Mumbai, India and working on various projects which include films and web series.
